I cried when I saw my proofs! The photo session with my two sons (and two dogs!) was a beautiful, moving, emotional experience for me -- that I can relive every time I look at my exquisite wall portraits.

Hey there gals! Alexander and I just looked at the
awesome proofs you sent and we thought they were terrific. I am now going
to try and express my love for your beautiful work in words. After visiting
the studio and meeting Vik and the crew we were set for our first appointment.
We intended on focusing the shoot on our then seven-year-old boy, however,
Vik encouraged us to get in on the act. We did and we now have walls filled
with beautiful art by Vik Orenstein. Now it is three years later and we
are still coming back with each new addition and updates of the old.
The product at KidCapers is outstanding, however the relationships
we have formed with the people who make it all happen keep us coming back.
Photographs are very personal and evoke all kinds of emotions from the
eye of the beholder. I have really appreciated the help Pat has given
me in choosing the right pictures. (I don't think there is a wrong picture.)

When you walk into KidCapers right off the bat you know you're going to have a great time! How do you know you're going to have a great time? Where else do you see an aquarium full of fish or a dog walking across the room. But the best part about going to KidCapers is Vik! She's friendly; she's warm; she makes it lots of fun to get your picture taken. And Vik's got the best monkey imitation in the city!

Did we set a bad precedent! For our 1995 Holiday
Card, we decided to do a seasonal retrospective using photos of our three children. KidCapers was selected to meet our family at the various venues that were important to our family. My kids so enjoyed the actual photo shoot sessions themselves; my oldest boy continues to ask in 1996 why the "kid photographers" aren't coming to our house to take pictures of the kids building a snowman. He is really bummed out that we're not doing the quarterly photos again in 1996. Maybe we should rethink this. We received rave reviews on the photos of our kids.

Our experience at KidCapers was fantastic! The kids loved having their photos taken while they played and we were so pleased with the end result. Not only are the portraits gorgeous, Vik really captured the kids' personality on film.
We enjoyed working with the whole staff at KidCapers -- they gave us good advice on everthing from what to wear, to what to expect in the final portraits. And, they really seemed to enjoy my kids!

We are so very pleased with the recent portraits of our son, Adam. As you know, Adam is a spirited kid with determination and his own agenda. I was uncertain as to whether we'd be able to accomplish any good portraits at all, but the shoot went so well, in part to your extra efforts, that there were almost too many good shots to choose from. As you know, I chose most of them and framed them as a 9-series collage. The end result is so striking. I'm very proud to show them off and most willing to pass your card on to my friends, neighbors and family.
